  • Assess employee skills and experience against job role competencies using structured assessment methods and tools.
  • Apply competency mapping models to identify capability gaps and development needs.
  • Apply organisational guidelines to support structured career progression planning.

Learning Unit 2: Planning and Implementation of Career Development

  • Identify appropriate career development options based on individual needs, organisational goals, and market trends.
  • Apply principles of career development to support structured career planning.
  • Support the execution of career development plans using relevant resources and tools.

Learning Unit 3: Evaluation and Ethical Practice

Competency Assessment
& Certification

Nationally-Recognised Certification

Candidates will be awarded a Statement of Attainment under Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) and a Certificate of Completion by Skills Development Academy upon completion of the course with at least 75% attendance and demonstration of competency in the WSQ-mandated written and practical assessments.

Entry Requirements:

  • Aged 21 and above
  • Have basic computer literacy Level 2
  • Have minimum GCE “N”, “O” or “A” Level / NITEC or a diploma qualification and minimum 2 years of working experience; and
  • Have an English language proficiency equivalent of higher of any of the following – GCSE N/O Levels pass in English / WPLN Level 5 / IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL (internet based total) 46-59
