Learning Unit 1: Foundations of AI Photorealistic Image Generation
- Learn how descriptive and technical inputs influence AI generated visuals and how to create more realistic outputs.
- Apply photography related concepts such as lighting, composition, and camera settings in prompts.
- Create photorealistic images using image generation prompting techniques.
Hands-on Activity: Generate detailed images on Google Gemini (Nano Banana) by using the SCENE framework and DARTS methodology.
Learning Unit 2: Advanced Prompting and Natural Language Processing Techniques
- Analyse AI generated outputs for bias and apply corrective steps to improve quality.
- Adjust and refine outputs through iteration based on AI tool limitations and results.
- Apply basic natural language processing (NLP) techniques to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of AI generated outputs.
Hands-on Activity: Create AI-generated videos using the STORY framework on Google Labs – Flow, and original songs using the SOUND framework on Suno.
Learning Unit 3: Ethical and Practical Considerations in AI Content Creation
- Incorporate creative principles to produce more unique and less generic outputs.
- Apply ethical considerations when selecting prompts and references.
- Identify and avoid copyright and plagiarism risks in AI generated content.
Hands-on Activity: Identify and rewrite ethically problematic image prompts using the CLEAR checklist.

Nationally-Recognised Certification
Candidates will be awarded a Statement of Attainment under Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) and a Certificate of Completion by Skills Development Academy upon completion of the course with at least 75% attendance and demonstration of competency in the WSQ-mandated written and practical assessments.
