Learning Unit 1:Understanding and Identifying Stress
- Identify personal stress triggers, strengths, and limitations through structured self-reflection.
- Recognise common symptoms and indicators of stress in professional practice.
- Assess personal well-being and identify workplace-related stress risks.
Hands-on Activity: Practise applying the SELF model to identify personal strengths, emotional triggers, limits and growth areas through a workplace case study.
Learning Unit 2: Managing and Regulating Stress
- Apply techniques to reframe negative experiences and manage stress more effectively.
- Develop and implement self-care strategies to support mental well-being.
- Leverage support systems such as peers, supervisors, and organisational resources.
- Create and apply structured self-care plans and coping mechanisms to regulate stress.
Hands-on Activity: Practise managing stress by using the BREATHE, CARE techniques to reframe thoughts and build self-care habits, and create a realistic well-being plan.
Competency Assessment
& Certification
Nationally-Recognised Certification
Candidates will be awarded a Statement of Attainment under Singapore Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) and a Certificate of Completion by Skills Development Academy upon completion of the course with at least 75% attendance and demonstration of competency in the WSQ-mandated written and practical assessments.

Entry Requirements:
- Aged 21 and above
- Have basic computer literacy Level 2
- Have minimum GCE “N”, “O” or “A” Level / NITEC or a diploma qualification and minimum 2 years of working experience; and
- Have an English language proficiency equivalent of higher of any of the following – GCSE N/O Levels pass in English / WPLN Level 5 / IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL (internet based total) 46-59
