Supporting Skills and Career Growth in the Tengah Community at e2i’s Skills and Career Fair

16 May 2026

Skills Development Academy was proud to be part of the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i)’s Skills and Career Fair, held at Tengah Community Club on 16 May 2026.

The event was a meaningful opportunity for us to connect with residents in the Tengah community, share skills advisory support, and help individuals explore upskilling and lifelong learning opportunities for their future.

Graced by Community Leaders

We were honoured to have the event graced by Dr Tan See Leng, Adviser to Chua Chu Kang GRC GROs (Chua Chu Kang); Mr Jeffrey Siow, Adviser to Chua Chu Kang GRC GROs (Brickland-Tengah); Dr Choo Pei Ling, Adviser to Chua Chu Kang GRC GROs (Tengah); and Ms Chua Wei-Shan, 2nd Adviser to Chua Chu Kang GRC GROs (Chua Chu Kang).

Their presence underscored the importance of supporting residents in their skills development, employability, and career readiness.

Sharing Practical Insights on AI and Employability

As part of the event, our trainer, Daryl Kang, conducted a sharing session titled “Leveraging AI to Stay Employable in Singapore’s Changing Workforce.”

Through the session, residents gained practical insights into how AI is shaping the workforce, why digital adaptability matters, and how individuals can take proactive steps to stay relevant in a changing employment landscape.

Engaging Residents on Upskilling Opportunities

Throughout the fair, our team had the opportunity to speak with residents who were keen to learn more about upskilling, career development, and future-ready skills.

These conversations allowed us to better understand their learning needs and share how practical training can support them in building confidence, improving employability, and preparing for new opportunities.

Continuing Our Commitment to Lifelong Learning

Skills Development Academy remains committed to empowering Singaporeans through accessible, practical, and future-ready learning that supports their personal growth, career development, and lifelong learning journey.

A big thank you to Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful event, and to all residents who stopped by our booth to speak with our team.
